The role

This is not a call center.

You will negotiate real estate deals—not read from a customer-service script.

This is a relationship-driven sales and account-management role. You will understand what is really driving each homeowner's decision, explain options clearly, negotiate terms, and keep deals moving from the first conversation through an executed agreement.

  • Hold natural, high-trust sales conversations in English.
  • Understand each homeowner's situation, timeline, priorities, and concerns.
  • Negotiate real estate purchase terms for investors.
  • Prepare and send 10–15 purchase offers per week after ramp-up.
  • Follow up consistently and keep accurate deal notes.
  • Work with the team to solve problems and move good deals forward.
  • Use facts and performance data to improve your results.

Your performance should change your paycheck.

The base gives you stability. The commission plan rewards people who learn the process, negotiate well, and execute consistently.

Training and expectations

We will train you. Then we will expect you to perform.

Your first three months are a coached ramp-up. You will learn our process, study real calls, practice the craft, and receive direct feedback.

1

First 90 days

Learn the process and build from roughly one live call per day to 10 or more.

2

After ramp-up

Prepare and send 10–15 well-structured purchase offers every week.

3

By month six

Your performance target is two executed real estate deals per month.

Who succeeds here

Good sales experience matters more than real estate experience.

Real estate experience is helpful, but it is not required. No license or certification is required.

You may be a fit if…

  • You speak native-level English and naturally understand American expressions, idioms, humor, and conversational cues.
  • You have at least two years of strong sales or account-management experience.
  • You have handled real negotiations, objections, follow-up, and performance targets.
  • You sound confident and human without hiding behind a script.
  • You are coachable, direct, organized, and comfortable being measured by results.
  • You have reliable transportation and can work from our Monterrey office.

This is probably not for you if…

  • You are looking for a customer-service or call-center position.
  • You avoid direct questions or uncomfortable conversations.
  • You need a script for every situation.
  • You resist feedback, process, or measurable goals.
  • Strong language in a workplace culture statement bothers you.

About Frontdoor

Founded by veterans. Built to help.

Frontdoor was founded by two Texas Army veterans, Prax Blackhorn and Marco Moya, who know firsthand how stressful selling a home can be.

What started as helping friends and family grew into a way to help homeowners across the country. Today, we buy, improve, and rent houses while making it easier for hundreds of people to sell their homes without unnecessary stress.

“Hi, this is [your name] with Frontdoor. I'm calling about the property on Maple Street. I know selling a house can feel like a lot, so I want to make sure we're on the same page. Before we talk numbers, could you walk me through what's prompting the move and what a good outcome would look like for you? There's no pressure to make a decision today. My job is to get the facts, answer your questions, and see whether we can put together an offer that makes sense. If we're not the right fit, I'll tell you straight. If we are, I'll explain the next steps and keep the ball rolling.”
